Do I need to register before the Walk?
Yes! All participants must be registered prior to Walk day. You may register online
or with a fundraising form. There will be no Walk day registration this year.
What do I do with the money I collected?
We do everything we can do make the Walk for Life fun and hassle-free. Sponsors can give in three ways: online, provide a check or cash to you, or pledge.
- At the Walk, turn in your fundraising form(s) and print-outs of your online fundraising forms and we will collect all those marked BILL ME through the mail. Please be sure to list their complete mailing address, city, state and zip code, and we will gladly send them a pledge statement and return envelope after the Walk.
- If your sponsor chooses to pay you directly, mark CASH or CHECK, and also note if a receipt is requested.
All donations are “flat” amounts – there is no per-mile pledge – and all gifts are tax deductible.
Which Walk event should I attend?
Choose the location and date that is most convenient for you and your family. We look forward to Walking with you!
AT THE ZOO LOCATION ONLY:
As a registered walker, your first sponsored donation on your fundraising form is your FREE ENTRANCE into the zoo. If you do not have any recorded donations, a $5 donation will be your entrance into the zoo. Each guest is an additional $5 donation. Children 2 and under are free!
How far is the Walk?
There is no set distance for our leisurely stroll – walk as far as you’d like!
What if it rains?
Rain or shine, we’re Walking for Life! If the weather looks like rain, please bring an umbrella or poncho.
Are there incentives?
Yes! As a heartfelt thanks for your efforts on behalf of CPC, we offer multiple incentive levels, as well as special honors for Top Walker, Top Team, Top Church and Top School. This year’s incentives include:

Can we do more?
Yes! We’d love your team to sponsor an activity at one of our Walk events! In order for all the funds you’re raising to directly benefit CPC, we are asking for teams, churches or businesses to take ownership of this portion of the Walk. Connect with Katelyn

What if I can’t attend any of the Walk events?
You can walk anytime, any day, any place! Just mail in your completed fundraising form(s) to CPC or bring the form into our office (including any money you’ve collected). We appreciate your support!
